    At HARBA LLC, protecting your personal data is our priority.

    When you use the Hookify platform (the "Platform") as our client (the "Client"), and as part of managing our contractual relationship, we may collect and process personal data about you.

    This policy explains how we process your personal data in compliance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and other applicable UAE data protection laws (together, the "Applicable Regulations").

    1. Who is the data controller?

    2. What personal data do we collect?

    Personal data means any information that can identify you directly or indirectly.

    We may collect the following categories of personal data:

    • Identification data: name, email address.
    • Professional data: company name, role, company website, logo.
    • Account data: login credentials, third-party authentication info (Google, Microsoft, etc.).
    • Order & subscription data: service usage, credits, invoices.
    • Connection & browsing data: logs, IP address, browser type, OS, pages viewed, date/time.
    • Location data (where relevant).
    • Customer service data: phone call content, chat records, support tickets.
    • Payment data: billing details, bank details (stored only by our Payment Service Provider).
    • Any other data you voluntarily provide via contact forms or customer interactions.

    We will always specify whether data is mandatory or optional when collected.

    4. Who receives your personal data?

    Your personal data may be shared with:

    • HARBA staff involved in delivering Services.
    • Our processors (service providers), including:
      • AI providers (video, voice, lipsync, generative AI),
      • hosting providers,
      • newsletter/email providers,
      • audience measurement/analytics,
      • secure payment providers,
      • invoicing tools,
      • cookie management tools.
    • Public authorities (only if legally required under UAE law).

    5. International Transfers

    Data may be hosted on servers located in the UAE or abroad, including by AWS and other providers.

    If data is transferred outside the UAE, we ensure safeguards such as:

    • transfers to jurisdictions deemed adequate by UAE authorities,
    • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other binding agreements,
    • contractual or technical safeguards ensuring equivalent protection.

    6. Your Rights under UAE Law (PDPL)

    You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

    • Right to information: to know what data we process and why.
    • Right of access: to access a copy of your personal data.
    • Right to rectification: to correct inaccurate or outdated data.
    • Right to erasure: to request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), unless retention is required by law.
    • Right to restriction of processing: to limit processing under certain circumstances.
    • Right to data portability: to request your personal data in a machine-readable format.
    • Right to object: to object to processing based on legitimate interest (e.g. marketing).
    • Right to withdraw consent: if processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
    • Right to lodge a complaint: with the UAE Data Office (the federal data protection authority).

    We use cookies and similar technologies to:

    • measure and analyze Platform usage,
    • improve functionality,
    • personalize user experience.
